The final trailer for the upcoming Deadpool 2 is here, and we now have an idea of what the movie is about. Sure, we knew that Domino and Cable were going to show up. And we knew that Deadpool was going to do more of what Deadpool does. However, the movie’s previous trailers didn’t really give us an idea of what the actual story was going to be.
From what we can tell from the newest trailer, it looks like Deadpool is forming X-Force, a team of mercenaries and mutants designed. Their job is to protect some kid from the arrival of a cyborg from the future. Of course, the video’s description says something entirely different so at this point, who knows?
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
The trailer does give us a good look at X-Force itself. It also shows a lot of Domino and Cable in action, as well as confirmation that Bedlam and Shatterstar are making the move from the comics to the silver screen. And then there’s Peter. Yep. Peter.
