It’s time! Time for the Thirteenth Doctor, new friends, and new adventures.
Jodie Whittaker’s run as the Thirteenth Doctor will officially begin when Doctor Who returns to the airwaves later this year, but yesterday we were given a brief teaser showcasing the new companions we can look forward to meeting during the new Doctor’s adventures.
The first footage featuring the new companions was released Sunday by the BBC during the World Cup final. While it’s a bit light on “adventures,” the teaser trailer shows the Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yasmin (Mandip Gill), and Graham (Bradley Walsh) being affected by Whittaker’s Doctor as she does some “wibbly wobbly timey wimey… stuff”. Whittaker appears with a smile at the end of the trailer which truly leaves fans wanting more.
