E3 2018: Devil May Cry 5 Announced

It’s time to hunt some demons. After many speculated that a new Devil May Cry game would be announced after Capcom claimed an online domain for the game earlier this year, Devil May Cry 5 was showcased during Microsoft’s E3 event. The new trailer focuses on the character Nero, who made his debut in Devil May Cry 4, fighting demons that have started to attack a city with the help of a new companion we don’t know much about other than the fact she’ll play a role in making arm attachments that Nero can use in combat. The game’s combat was greatly showcased in the trailer showing that the games trademark fast-paced and stylish combat is still intact.

While Nero was the main showcase in the trailer, Dante was still shown briefly at the end of the trailer, possibly hinting to the fact that like Devil May Cry 4, will have multiple playable characters. The game is currently slated for a release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in spring of 2019. Devil May Cry 5 is the first new Devil May Cry game since the Ninja Theory reboot was released back in 2013.
