The CW has given us our first official look at Ruby Rose in her role as Batwoman in a costume designed by award-winning designer Colleen Atwood. Atwood also designed costumes for Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl so if it looks like Batwoman belongs in the Arrowverse, you know why.
Rose will play the lesbian superhero, who makes her first appearance during the December 9th Arrowverse crossover event titled “Elseworlds.” Arrowverse mastermind, Greg Berlanti, is currently developing a stand-alone series focused on Kate Kane/Batwoman.
Lois Lane, played by Elizabeth Tulloch, will also be making her Arrowverse debut. Tyler Hoechlin will also reprise his role as Superman during the event.
“Elseworlds” begins production today, but will hit televisions beginning Sunday, December 9th on The Flash at 8 p.m. ET. Part two will air the following night on Arrow with the event finishing up on Tuesday, December 11th at 8 p.m. ET with Supergirl
